Motorola announces Moto G for $179
With all the buzz around the Nexus 5 and it’s amazingly low price tag, Motorola throws out their latest announcement for the Moto G. The Moto G has a 4.5″ HD “best in class” screen, according to Motorola. It features a snapdragon 400 1.2ghz quad core processor, a 5mp rear camera and a 1.2mp front facing camera. While the phone is only doing 720p resolution for video, for the price I think it will be a strong contender in the consumer market. The phone comes with 8gb standard storage capacity with a 16gb option available. Will this be the next hottest phone? I doubt it, the features while nice are not going to wow the techie community, but for a low cost entry into the higher end of android smart phones it seems pretty nice.
Expect to see this phone hitting the stores January 2014.
